The longest day is upon us and with it the return of the long nights.
The King of Night has defeated the Queen of Day to reclaim the skies
in the name of the stars, the moon and the coldest winds.

So we call the tribes to gather!
To cheer the days past and the nights to come,
to dance beneath the laughing stars and sing our tales to the watchful trees;
To share what we can give and to know
in the everturning wheel of the years and the world and all that lives
and even in the coldest nights ahead
We are not alone.

Forever and a Night is a one-day larp about different tribes coming together for an annual folk celebration that marks a rare occasion of meeting one another.

It is not a historically accurate larp but strives for the cultural and aesthetic vibe of Central European late iron-age aka the La Tène period, aka what commonly gets referred to as “Celtic”. It is a larp about common people celebrating Noxtulid (a summer solstice festival) together, telling stories, falling in love, reconciling broken bonds, forming new connections; it is about community, gratitude, superstitions and simple rituals inherent to the society we are trying to portray.

The Team

This larp is run by Poltergeist LARP, a Germany based larp organisation that has run international events since 2021.

We are a bunch of queer leftist trash that firmly believe in the beauty of different cultures, stories and lived realities. We represent antidiscriminatory values that are clearly reflected in our design and Code of Conduct for our events - if you do not enjoy politically minded design and values in your larps, our events are not for you. We aim to create safe spaces and together, celebrate a diverse and brave community.

Our events are driven by stories and the beauty that lies within telling them. We take an interest in personal ideas, in you as a human being and the character you bring to life. Together, we hope, we can safely enter the magic circle that is larp and explore new facets of storytelling with each other.
